Hvidovre has signed a new assistant coach, Casper Aamodt, who comes with experience from both development and top football in Denmark. Aamodt has already 18 years of experience in the field and comes to Skagerak Arena with solid experience from both development and top football in Denmark. He has been part of Brøndbys academy as head coach, assistant coach, analyst and player developer. He has also worked in Hvidovre – where he previously collaborated closely with Per – and in Aalborg BK as transition coach and player developer around the A-team. He holds UEFA A-license and UEFA A Elite Youth, and will complete the highest education in football analysis through Dansk Boldspil-Union this week. Head coach Per Fransen knows the new assistant well – and has had Aamodt at the top of his wish list. – When we knew that there would be changes in the coaching team, Casper was an early name I wanted to bring in. I know him well from the time in Hvidovre. He is professionally strong, analytical and has a clear football understanding that fits into the way we want to play, says Per. He also highlights that Aamodt fills him both methodically and personally: – He is skilled in analysis, technology, details and structure. He has qualities that fill my strengths and give us a good balance in the team. And not least – he is a very good person. Casper fits into the culture we are building here. Odd has been clear that the coaching team should be tightened up and renewed towards next season. The club goes from two to one assistant coach, and Aamodt becomes a central part of this work. – We have been clear that the coaching team should be tightened up and renewed towards next season. The club now goes from two to one assistant coach, and Casper becomes an important part of this work. With experience from both development environment and top football in Denmark, solid competence in analysis and player development, and a modern football understanding, he is a very exciting addition when we build the team further towards 2026, says daily leader Espen Bugge Pettersen.
